A card for a baby boy

Here's a card that a friend of mine asked me to make for her. It's for a baby boy.
I'm entering this card into two challenges. The Cute Card Thursday challenge this week is to make a card for a young boy. The Creative Card Crew challenge is favourite things. Some of my favourite things that I've used for this card are swirls and metal and of course the Slice.
I've clear embossed swirls all around the image. Doesn't show wery well on the pictures but looks really great irl.
Material:
Image from Pink cat Studio.
Swirl stamp from Hero arts
Paper from Crate paper.
The tag and flowers are cut with the Slice DC wedding and vintage findings.
Metal corners, charm, button and ribbon from my stash.

Thanks so much for visiting, and commenting. I really appreciate it!

Hi

Just popping in to let you all know why there isn't and won't be that much new to see in my blog at the moment. My son is ill and is in the hospital. He will be allright, he just needs medicine that we can't give at home. I'll be back when everything gets back to normal.

Christmas tag

Here is a Christmas tag that I've made recently. I'm entering this into tis weeks Roses on paper challenge which is Christmas, and the Cute Card Thursday challenge which is Glitter & sparkle.
I love Edward from The Greeting Farm. He is just super cool. Looove that hair of his! I went really over the top with the silver embossing here. I just didn't know when to stop, and now I'm stuck with it. The sentiment and snowflakes are also embossed. The tab is cut with the Slice DC Studio essentials. I found these glittery pompoms in my stash and thay fit great here actually.
Hope you're all having a good weekend!

Cupcake thanks

It's Monday again! And I have a card to show that I made for the following challenges;
Just Magnolia - distressing. I love distressing!
Simon Says Stamp - a thank you card. Really need more of those in my stash.
Basic Grey Challenges - photo inspiration. What an inspirational photo!
Sketch Saturday - a gorgeous sketch.
I chose to say thank you with a cupcake. Eatable things are always good when you want to thank someone I think, LOL.
The papers are from Basic Grey and the flowers are from Prima. I've put glossy accent on the pink parts of this Magnolia image, doesn't show at all on the pics :( but looks really great irl. The edges are inked and torn, and I've used a Fiskars border punch. Ribbon and pearls from my stash.
A simple inside. Don't want to hide this gorgeous paper.
Thats all from me today. Time to get back to studying.
Thanks for stopping by, I so appreciate all visits and comments. You're the best!

A purse + 100 posts

Whooohooo, this is my 100th post!
This is a box I've made for one of my best friend's son who recently tuned one.
I got the instructions for the purse from the very talented Inger.
You can see her tutorial here.
The paper is BG. The flowers are cut with the Slice DC Wedding and the letters with DC Basic 3. I've also used buttons, brads and stickles.
Sorry I've been MIA for a while, but I've had the stomach flue and have been very ill. Now I'm feeling much better though.
Thanks for visiting!

Purple box

Hi everyone!
I've made this box for the monthly challenge at Svensk Scrapbooking. The theme is trick OR treat. I've focusen on the OR in the theme and just made a treat themed project without the trick.

The image is a Magnolia. I've made the flowers myself. Phew, it sure took a while to make all those flowers. You can see a tutorial here. The bling swirls are from Prima. The butterfly is cut with the Slice DC Vintage Findings (told you I would use this a lot). Leaf punch from Punch Bunch. All else is from my stash.

A close up. Don't know why the gem flower looks blue, it's actually purple.

I've dry embossed around all sides for that extra finishing touch, and inked to make it more visible.

Thanks for visiting! Take care!

The tags on the inside is a Magnolia stamp.

I'm stuck by the computer studying today.
Wishing you all a great day!

Silvery christmas

There was a scrapbook and cardmaking fair in Gothenburg this weekend, and since I don't live that far away of course i was there. I love fairs, so much inspiration and happy poeple! Anyway, I bought my first Motivet stamp. The ONLY stamp I bought. Wasn't I good?! Only one stamp that is. Some other stuff landed in my bags as well. I really needed a snowman image though, LOL.

I'm entering this card into two challenges.
Lili of the valley - christmas card for a child
Creative card crew - scallops

I really wanted to use these silver papers from Anita's Crafts AND the Motivet stamp. A bit diffucult to colour to match, LOL. I coloured the image quite pale to get an aged look, to not stand out from the papers too much. The scallop corners are cut with the Slice DC Studio Essentials and the snowflakes with DC Mistletoe. I've also used stickles, bling, and some kind of glittery silver net paper from my stash.

Wishing you all a great week!

Card storage with Slice butterfly

Such lovely weather we have here in Sweden today! Sun is shining from a clear blue sky. Makes you so happy, doesn't it?!

I've made another of my card storage boxes. Always seems to need just one more....LOL

The instructions and measurements can be found HERE.

I've used pink cardstock and patterned paper from BG. Edges are inked with distress inks, worn lipstick and a bit of black soot. White dotted ribbon from my stash.

I like to decorate the back as well.

This butterfly is cut with the Slice DC Vintage Findings. I love this design, it's one I will use A LOT. Here I layred two butterflies, both cut in white paper and inked.

Here the box is in use....

One last pic....

Thanks so much for visiting!
Hugs to you all /Hanna

Halloween tag

Hi y'all! So glad to be back! I've made a tag for two challenges. Simon Says Stamp and A Spoon Full of Sugar both have halloween theme this week.

I don't have any traditional halloween stamps, so used this Greeting Farm stamp instead. There's room for a lot of candy in those bags, LOL. The DP is from Fancy Pants. Flowers, ribbon, brad and bling from my stash. The tab is cut with the Slice DC Studio Essentials. No decos on the back, just the same FP paper.

Tomorrow I'm going on a shopping spree to Gothenburg with a friend. Woohooo! Been looking forward to this for quite some time. Wishing you all a great weekend!
